Medical Card Renwal

A service facilitating medical card renewal after expiry, one which entitles its holder to receive medical services.

Procedures

  • Printing out the Smart Medical Card Application through the e-system or printing offices and paying the fees

  • Referring to Customer Service Centers to submit the application.

  • The officer will validate the original documents and review the information stated on the application form.

  • Issuing the new medical card.

  • Receival of the medical card

Documents

  • A copy of the expired medical card.

  • A copy of valid Emirates ID card.

  • A copy of valid passport.

  • Personal photo with white background.

  • A proof of residence in the Emirate.

  • Filling out the Smart Medical Card application.

  • A certified copy of the marriage certificate if the spouse is not an Emirati.

  • A valid residency visa or entry residence visa for expatriates arriving for the first time.
