About:
Ajman eGovernment was established in 2012 by Emiri Decree No. 17 of 2012 as a unit attached to the Ajman Executive Council.
In 2017, and in recognition of the goals and objectives of the Emirate of Ajman 2021, and its strategic plans to develop operations and promote digital transformation in the emirate and the importance of establishing a specialized government entity, Ajman eGovernment was reorganized into Ajman Digital Government by Emiri Decree No. 9 of 2017. His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. H.E Ohood Ali Shehil was appointed Director General of Ajman Digital Government.
The digital government is responsible for providing the legislative tools and regulatory means to the government entities in Ajman to facilitate the digital transformation process, through coordination with the various government agencies to take maximum advantage of modern technologies and contribute to the development of the digital society in general through the following vision and mission:
