Issuance of a Hotel License

This service enables businesses to apply for the issuance of an operating license for hotel establishments providing tourism accommodation and hospitality services in the Emirate, including hotels, hotel apartments, resorts, guest houses, lodges, tourist villages, and desert camps, in accordance with the approved requirements and standards

Required Documents

    Business

  • Good Conduct Certificate (Manager)

  • A copy of the property title deed. In cases where the land is not owned by the applicant, a written consent letter from the owner authorizing the use of the land must be submitted.

  • A copy of the architectural and engineering drawings of the existing building.

  • A copy of the Free Zone License.

  • Approvals from the relevant authorities – Municipality and Planning Department – Sewerage Department.

Process

  • 1 Sign in using UAE Pass through the available channel.
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Receive a notification of approval or rejection
  • 4 Receive fee payment notification to pay the initial approval and preliminary classification fees
  • 5 Pay the applicable fees
  • 6 Receive the classification team to conduct the on-site inspection of the hotel establishment
  • 7 Receive a notification of approval or rejection and the issuance of the Preliminary Classification
  • 8 Complete the initial licensing procedures and attach the required documents.
  • 9 Receive a fee payment notification
  • 10 Pay the initial license fees
  • 11 Receive a notification of approval or rejection
  • 12 Receive the initial license
  • 13 Meet with the department's concerned representatives to follow up on the integration of the hotel system with the Statistics and Revenue Systems
  • 14 Receive a notification to pay the final classification fees
  • 15 Pay the final classification fees
  • 16 Receive the classification team to conduct the final classification of the hotel establishment
  • 17 Complete the final licensing procedures and attach the required documents.
  • 18 Receive a notification of approval or rejection
  • 19 Receive a notification to pay the final license fees
  • 20 Pay the final license fees
  • 21 Receive the hotel license and classification certificate
  • 22 Complete the classification plaque procedures with the relevant company.
