Tour Guide License Request

A service that allows those who wish to be a tour guide in the Emirate through training and qualification and undergo an assessment that they must pass it to get the permit to improve their abilities to serve the tourists and guests of the Emirate, and the the permit expiry period is 2 years.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • Age should not be less than 18 years

  • High school certificate at least or what is equavilant to it.

  • Valid residency & ID.

  • Passing english language test.

  • A copy of existing tourist guide license (for guides licensed from other emirates).

    • Business

  • High school certificate at least or what is equavilant to it.

  • Valid residency & ID.

  • Passing english language test.

  • A copy of existing tourist guide license (for guides licensed from other emirates).

  • Age should not be less than 18 years

Process

  • 1 Submit the request through the e-system
  • 2 Review and and obtain the approval for the request
  • 3 Payment of the fees
  • 4 Train the participants and undergo a knowledge assessment
  • 5 pass the assessment
  • 6 Issuing the tour guide permit

Service fees

  • 3255 AED For the new tour guide.

  • 2205 AED for the tour guide licensed from other emirate.
