Register a Will

This service enables individuals to register a will, ensuring its approval and updating of ownership data in a systematic manner, and contributes to enhancing the accuracy of real estate records and protecting the rights of related parties.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • A Valid Passport

  • A letter from the Sharia court.

  • Clearance certificate/ NOC from the developer (for real estate units(

  • Original Title Deed / Ownership Certificate / Initial Registration Certificate, in case the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the fees
  • 4 Receive the Title Deed, Ownership Certificate for a Real Estate Unit, or Initial Registration Certificate through the UAE Pass application or the Department’s document wallet

  • Fee for issuing the title deed, ownership certificate, and initial registration certificate - AED 350
