Registration Of Amendment Of A Long Term Lease (Complementary)

It is the amendment of a contract under which the lessor the owner of a real estate or a real estate unit gives ownership of a specific benefit to the lessee for a period of not less than 8 Gregorian years.

Required Documents

  • The original title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration certificate is required if the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

  • A long-term rental contract legally modified by a law firm and certified by the court.

  • Establishment contract and commercial license for institutions and companies.

  • A long-term rental contract legally modified by a law firm and certified by the court.

Process

  • 1 Submitting the application request and required documents through the E-services portal
  • 2 Reviewing and approving the application by the Customer Happiness Center
  • 3 Fees Payment
  • 4 Download the e-title deed/initial registration certificate/Registration certificate from UAE Pass wallet.

Service fees

  • AED 500 as application for amendment of a long term lease

  • AED 350 Fee for issuing the title deed / ownership certificate / initial registration certificate.
