Registration of Mortgage Transfer

This service enables individuals and the business sector to document the process of transferring a mortgage from one property to another, or from one real estate unit to another, or transferring a mortgage from its owner to one of his first-degree relatives.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • Letter from the mortgage authority of approval.

  • Original Title Deed / Ownership Certificate / Initial Registration Certificate, in case the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the fees
  • 4 Attend the Service Center to complete the mortgage contract signing procedures.
  • 5 Receive the Title Deed, Ownership Certificate for a Real Estate Unit, or Initial Registration Certificate through the UAE Pass application or the Department’s document wallet
