Registration of Mortgage Amendment from One Owner to Another Without Affecting the Mortgage

This service enables individuals and businesses to apply for a mortgage amendment, including increasing the mortgage term, increasing its value, or making any other modification to it, on a property for the benefit of the financing entity, to guarantee the rights associated with the property or real estate unit.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • Approval letter from the mortgage authorities.

  • Original Title Deed / Ownership Certificate / Initial Registration Certificate, in case the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the fees
  • 4 Attend the Service Center to complete the mortgage contract signing procedures.
  • 5 Receive the title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration certificate through the UAE Pass app or the Department’s document wallet.
