Request for Issuance of Road Works Permit

This service enables individuals and businesses to obtain an occupancy permit for the temporary use of one or two road lanes for company projects, or to place a wedding or condolence tent outside the road

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • An aerial photo of the site (via Google) and traffic diversion diagram.

    • Business

  • Project plan and traffic diversion diagram

  • Permit request letter from the company

    • Government Entities

  • A request letter from the entity.

  • Marriage Certificate

  • A copy of the house ownership certificate or a valid tenancy contract (registered in the name of a first-degree relative of the deceased). Burial permits are not issued for residents living in apartments.

  • A copy of the Emirates ID of the homeowner (who must be a first-degree relative of the deceased).

  • The commercial license of the tent installation company, provided that it is issued by the Emirate of Ajman.

  • The house location, Makani number, and phone number.

  • The death certificate or death notification must be issued within the UAE.

  • Fees for one lane occupancy per day - AED 500

  • Fees for two-lane occupancy per day - AED 1000

  • Fees for one lane occupancy per month - AED 7000

  • Fees for two-lane occupancy per month - AED 10000
