Request For Land Usage Change

This service enables landowners to apply for approval to change the land use classification to residential, commercial, or industrial, according to their needs

Required Documents

    Government Entities

  • A planning statement approved by the Planning and Survey Department - Planning Studies Department

  • Determination of inheritance certificate from court if the applicant is one of the heirs

  • A letter from the government entity to the Municipality and Planning Department - Planning and Survey Department

  • An official power of attorney or authorization in the event that the applicant is not the owner of the land

Process

  • 1 Sign in using UAE PASS through the available channels
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the fees
  • 4 Receive approval for land use change and receive the site plan

  • Land use change application fee: 1% of the land value as of the application submission date.
