Health Permit Request

A service (New - Renewal) that enables customers to obtain all initial approvals required for the licenses and permits for the practice of public health-related activities of food facilities in the Emirate to ensure that all activity requirements are met before starting the activity.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • Detailed interior plan for the activity requirements from a company approved by the Department.

  • request for amending the details of the economic activity (initial approval from the DED (Business)

Process

  • 1 Obtaining the health approval automatically within the procedures for issuing commercial contracts in accordance with the terms and conditions registered with the type of activity
  • 2 Paying the service fee electronically along with the commercial contract authentication fee
  • 3 Inspecting the site and verifying that the health requirements stipulated in the terms and conditions are met at the time of issuing the license
  • 4 Issuing the final approval and starting the activity of the facility

Service fees

  • Inspection fees of a food or health facility with limited activity (license / renewal): AED 200

  • Inspection fees of a medium-sized food or health facility (license/renewal):L AED 500

  • Inspection fees of a food or health facility with a large activity (license / renewal): AED 1000
