Vehicle Re-test Service

A service through which a failed vehicle is re-inspected after repairing the defects identified by the technical inspection officer, to ensure its roadworthiness and eligibility for registration.

Process

  • 1 Bringing the vehicle to the inspection lane
  • 2 Payment of re-inspection fees
  • 3 Receiving the result via the Ministry of Interior app and through an SMS message

Service fees

  • Light Vehicle (Private/Public) – 50 AED - Motorcycle – 50 AED - Trailer and Semi-Trailer – 100 AED

  • Light Mechanical Equipment (Private/Public) – 75 AED - Heavy Mechanical Equipment (Private/Public) – 75 AED - Freight (less than 12 tons) (Private) – 75 AED

  • Freight (more than 12 tons) – Private/Public – 75 AED - Bus (less than 27 passengers) – Private/Public – 75 AED - Bus (more than 27 passengers) – Private – 75 AED
