Change Vehicle Plate Number

This service enables vehicle owners to request changing the vehicle plate number, in accordance with the approved procedures and regulations.

Required Documents

    Government Entities

  • A valid Emirates ID card

  • Provide a letter from the company signed and stamped by the authorized signatories

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE Pass through the Ministry of Interior app (MOI UAE)
  • 2 Submit the application, complete the required information, and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the applicable fees
  • 4 Receive the vehicle registration card electronically or through the delivery service (Emirates Post)
  • 5 Collect the new vehicle plate in person from one of the approved service centers (Fast or Speed)

  • The service fee for changing a vehicle's license plate number - AED 300

  • 5 Minutes
