Issuance of a Replacement Vehicle License Plate for a Lost or Damaged Plate

This service enables individuals, businesses, and government entities that own vehicles to request a replacement vehicle plate for a lost or damaged plate, in accordance with the approved procedures.

Required Documents

    Government Entities

  • A valid Emirates ID card

  • Vehicle Plate Loss Certificate

Process

  • 1 Attend the Customer Happiness Centre in person (fast or speed)
  • 2 Submit the vehicle plate loss certificate or hand over the damaged plates
  • 3 Pay the applicable fees
  • 4 Receive the number plates from the plate factory

Service fees

  • The service fee for issuing a license plate for a lost or damaged vehicle is set according to the approved fees. - AED 500-80
