Issue an Export Certificate Outside the Country

This service enables individuals, businesses, and government entities that own vehicles to request a Vehicle Export Certificate, allowing them to export the vehicle outside the UAE for use or sale while retaining ownership of the vehicle under their name on the export certificate.

Required Documents

    Government Entities

  • Bring a letter from the company with the seal and signature of the authorized persons

  • Power of attorney or authorization

  • A valid Emirates ID card

  • Vehicle Technical Inspection for Export

  • Obtain vehicle insurance valid for at least 96 hours if an export plate number is requested

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels (MOI website and application)
  • 2 Submit the application, complete the required information, and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the applicable fees
  • 4 Obtain the Vehicle Export Certificate for export outside the UAE

  • export fee for light vehicles; vehicles weighing more than 3 tons and less than 12 tons; light mechanical equipment; buses with a seating capacity of 14 to 26 passengers; and motorcycles.
