Renew a Vehicle Driving License

This service enables individuals to renew their driving licenses according to the approved age categories. The renewal period is one year for applicants under 21 years of age, five years for residents aged 21 and above, and ten years for UAE citizens aged 21 and above.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • A valid Emirates ID card

  • personal photo (1)

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels.(MOI website and application)
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Pay the applicable restrictions and traffic fines, and add any traffic points to the traffic file, if applicable
  • 4 Pay the vehicle driving license renewal fees
  • 5 Receive the renewed driving license card

Service fees

  • Renewal of a Driving License for one year (for individuals under the age of 21). - AED 100

  • Renewal of a Driving License for 5 or 10 Years (for individuals aged 21 and above) - AED 300

  • Driving License Card Delivery Fee - AED 15
