Replace a Vehicle Driving License Issued by Another Country

This service enables individuals to request replacement of approved foreign or GCC driving licenses with a driving license issued by the licensing authority in the emirate.

Required Documents

  • A valid Emirates ID card

  • The original copy of the license

  • Vision Examination

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels (MOI website and application)
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Select the preferred method for receiving the driving license: in person from a service center or by delivery
  • 4 Pay the applicable fees
  • 5 Receive the driving license
