Issue a Vehicle Impound Release Certificate

This service allows individuals, businesses, and government entities to request the release of an impounded vehicle.

Required Documents

    Government Entities

  •  Valid ID (passport / ID).

  •  Valid ID (passport / ID).

  • Letter from the company

  •  Valid ID (passport / ID).

  • A message from the government agency

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels (MOI website and application)
  • 2 Select the vehicle plate for which the impound release is required
  • 3 Submit the application, complete the required information, and attach the required documents
  • 4 Pay the vehicle impound yard fees, along with any outstanding traffic fines, if applicable
  • 5 Receive the vehicle impound release receipt
