Customer Registration

This service enables individuals and businesses to register as customers with the department and obtain a registration certificate. It also provides a customs code for categories whose activities require one, allowing them to carry out port- and customs-related activities in accordance with the nature of their commercial license or individual status.

Required Documents

    Business

  • Trade licence.

  • Passport of the company director or owner.

  • Emirates ID of the company director or owner.

  • Tax Registration Certificate, if available.

Process

  • 1 Submit the application through the website and attach the required documents.
  • 2 Pay the applicable fees electronically, where applicable.
  • 3 . Receive the Customer Registration Certificate and Importer Code.
  • 4 Receive a notification confirming the update of the customer’s information.
