This service enables businesses to report goods suspected of infringing intellectual property rights or trademarks at the ports of entry in the Emirate of Ajman and to file complaints against parties violating their trademark rights, enabling the competent authorities to take the necessary actions in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.

    Business

  • Evidence substantiating the validity of the complaint

  • A formal complaint letter issued by the trademark owner

  • Legal power of attorney

  • An undertaking to cover all costs related to the suspension, inspection, and storage

  • Customs declaration

Process

  • 1 Submit the application through the website and attach the required supporting documents.
  • 2 Pay the applicable fees and security deposit.
  • 3 Receive the Trademark / Intellectual Property Infringement Report and a refund of the security deposit if the complaint is found to be valid.

  • Fee for submitting a request to verify an alleged infringement through customs inspection. - AED 2000

  • Refundable security deposit to ensure the validity of the complaint, subject to the approved terms and conditions - AED 5000

  • Additional fee for urgent customs inspection services, upon request. - AED 500

  • Additional fee for customs inspection services during official holidays, upon request. - AED 1000
