Request for Approval of Account Trustee

This service enables all financial institutions in the UAE that provide escrow account management services for real estate development projects and maintenance accounts for main and sub-properties to submit a request for their approval or renewal of approval as an escrow agent for freehold real estate projects registered with the Department.

Required Documents

    Business

  • A licence issued by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates

  • A valid trade licence, in addition to the company’s Memorandum of Association (for companies only)

  • Escrow Agent Accreditation Application Form addressed to the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE Pass through the website
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents through the Digital Services Portal
  • 3 The application is reviewed and approved by the concerned departments at the Department
  • 4 Payment of the prescribed fees
  • 5 Receive the escrow agent accreditation certificate
