Registration of a Mortgage Amendment

This service enables individuals and businesses to apply for mortgage amendments, ensuring that mortgage data is updated systematically and preserving the rights of the financing entity and related parties.

Required Documents

    Business

  • Approval letter from the mortgage authorities.

  • Original Title Deed / Ownership Certificate / Initial Registration Certificate, in case the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

Process

  • 1 Log in using UAE PASS through the available channels
  • 2 Submit the application and attach the required documents
  • 3 Receive notification of application approval and payment of fees via SMS or email
  • 4 Pay the fees
  • 5 Visit the service center to complete the signing procedures
  • 6 Receive a copy of the updated Mortgage Contract and the Title Deed, Ownership Certificate, or Initial Registration Certificate through the UAE PASS Digital ID application or through the Department’s Digital Document Wallet.

  • Mortgage Amendment Registration Fee for Extending the Mortgage Term of the Property or Real Estate Unit. - AED 500

  • Title Deed / Ownership Certificate / Initial Registration Certificate Issuance Fee - AED 350

  • Mortgage Data Amendment Registration Fee for a Property or Real Estate Unit, Excluding Changes to the Mortgage Value and Term. - AED 1000

  • If the first quarter of the mortgage term has elapsed, the applicable fees for registering a new mortgage shall be charged. - AED 0.5
